This is a basic module for lunch management. Companies may order different food items for their employees and it is difficult to manage if the employee number is high. So there is a proper management is needed in that case here comes the Odoo lunch module which helps the Company to manage the food orders and save the employee time and avoid them to always have coins in their pockets.
First of all, install the Lunch Module from the App list.
After the Installation, there will be a new menu called “Lunch” Configuration
Add product categories
Go to Lunch > Configuration > Product categories
we are going to create a new category “Pizza”
Add Products
Go to Lunch-> Configuration -> Products
Add the product, category, add default vendor for this product and also the price for the product.
Alerts
Sometimes the employees will forget to order food items and cause many delays due to that, in order to avoid that we can create alerts which avoid any delays caused by late ordering and all.
You can set the recurrence for the Alert in Every week, Specific Day, Every Day and also set the Message and Schedule Hour.
Now we can create a new order. Go to My Lunch ->New order
Now we can see the Alert has been shown in the order. The user can see the balance in his account from the balance button. And now we can select the products that we want to order and create a note for each product if needed and the price will be automatically added then save the order. If you want to set a budget for your order click on Feeling Lucky Button and enable I'm not feeling rich Button and set the Budget and select the vendors. then click on I am feeling lucky after that you can see the products which have a price less than your budget you can add these products to your order.
Then go to previous orders and you can see all the previous orders. In order to view your account details Go to Your Lunch Account, your order details, balance all can be seen there.
After the User has created his order the manager can view all the orders of today and see the order by the vendor after that he can order the meals and receive the meals.
If it is received the products expense will be added to each user’s account.
And also there is an option to set payment for the orders.
Go to Employee Payments and create a new payment
This payment will be added to the corresponding user account.
The manager can view and manage all user accounts by going to Control accounts
That’s all about the lunch module and this is a use full module to manage daily lunch orders for any kind of organization.
