Under the configuration menu, users can choose Settings. In Settings, a section named Delivery is there to configure delivery for eCommerce.

By turning on the Shipping Address option, you can modify the website's shipping address settings in Odoo 18 under Website > Configuration > Settings. Customers can now enter a shipping address at checkout that is different from their billing address.

Users can customize delivery options by managing additional shipping methods and rules under Website > eCommerce > Configuration > Settings > Shipping Costs.

By going to Website > Configuration > Settings and turning on the Store Pickup option, you may enable Click & Collect in Odoo 18. Customers can choose a shop pickup location during checkout rather than home delivery. You can designate particular retailers as collection sites under Inventory > Configuration > Warehouses, which is where pickup locations are maintained. You can define availability for each product, set up different pickup sites, and modify the pickup procedure to suit your company's requirements. Customers can also receive automatic reminders when their order is prepared for pickup, and store pickup choices can be shown on the checkout page.

In Odoo 18, carrier-specific modules such as DHL, UPS, FedEx, or Mondial Relay can be installed in Website > Configuration > Settings to allow Shipping Connectors. For smooth order fulfillment, these interfaces enable automatic label creation, real-time shipping rate computation, and tracking integration.

Go to the Shipping Connectors section in the settings menu. Users may see a list of shipping connectors that Odoo 18 supports here. Check the boxes next to the shipping carriers' names to choose which ones you want to integrate with.

Installing the Mondial Relay shipping provider module from Apps and setting it up in Website > Configuration > Settings will enable Mondial Relay in Odoo 18. Customers can select a Mondial Relay pickup location at checkout thanks to this connection, giving them more delivery possibilities. You may control the shipment method settings in shipment Methods, where you can specify delivery rules, relay point selection, and cost. At checkout, customers will see a list of available Mondial Relay pickup locations and get package tracking information. Logistics can also be streamlined by automating order processing and shipping label creation.

Let's configure the shipping methods and check how this configuration works. The Delivery methods can be selected from the Configuration menu.

While opening the Delivery Methods, a list of configured shipping methods will be shown. The details like Delivery Method name, Provider, Is published, Website, Company, Countries, and Max Weight are shown there. Users can configure a new one by clicking on the New button.

* Fixed Price

Here, the first delivery method is Standard Delivery, click on it to open. As shown in the screenshot below, the delivery method is named Standard Delivery. The Provider chosen for this method is Fixed Price. This means it will only take a predefined fixed price as a delivery charge.

$50 is provided as the Fixed price. The shipping fee will not be applied if the total order value exceeds $1,000. This implies that orders totaling more than $1,000 are eligible for free shipping. Delivery products are essential services to manage delivery. Customers can simply track their packages on the site by using the Tracking Link option, which adds a link.

The next tab is Availability; by completing this form, you can choose a shipping option based on the order's contents or destination. Users can add the country, state, and zip prefix under DESTINATION. Users can easily limit the shipping method to particular countries by entering such parameters.

There are places to put Max Weight and Max Volume in the CONTENT section. The shipping option won't be offered if the total weight or volume exceeds this. 

Must-Have Tags: The method is only available only if at least one product of the order has one of these tags.

Excluded Tags: The method is not available only if at least one product of the order has one of these tags.

* Based on Rules

There is another provider named Based on Rules. By using this users can easily add a shipping cost by certain rules. So choose the Provider ‘Based on Rules’.

In the Margin on Rate field the user can add the percentage that will be added to the shipping price. Additional margin field, the users can add a fixed amount; this fixed amount will be added to the shopping price. Then add the Delivery Product.

An additional tab named Pricing is shown; click on the Add a line to add a new pricing rule for shipping. Here, the pricing rule is set as Quantity >= 1 then the shipping cost will be 2* Quantity.

Under the Availability tab, as said before, the Excluded Tags are added as ‘Fragile’. So this shipping method is only applicable for the products that do not have a tag named ‘Fragile’.

So, let's check how these shipping methods work. So check two products. The product chosen is Glass. Under the Sales tab, the tag added is shown.

Here the next product is Tumbler. In the sales tab no tag is added.

Go to the Website Shop first. Then the product list can be viewed inside the shop. Here the created two products are shown.

The product named Glass is added to the cart. So the cart page shows that the customer added two quantities of the product Glass. Then click on the Checkout button.

While entering the Checkout page, the shipping details like Shipping methods and shipping address are shown on the checkout page. The shipping method is Standard delivery. The shipping cost is 50 dollars.

Let's add the second product, Tumbler, to the cart. Two quantities of Tumbler are added to the cart as shown below. Then click on the Checkout button to see the shipping cost.

So here the delivery method is Local delivery. Just because the product doesn't contain ta ag named Fragile.

So here the delivery method we set the rule as 2* quantity. Then the Margin  rate is set as 2% and a $10 is added as an Additional margin. Here two quantities are added. 

So shipping charge = (2*2)*2%+10= 14.08

* Mondial Relay

So the shipping method for the Mondial Relay is shown. Which is configured on the basis of rules, the rule and other details like the delivery product, the margin on rate, and others are shown there. Make sure that the shipping method is published.

So go to the website shop page. Go to the shop and choose the product. Add the needed product to the cart with quantities. The cart page shows the added product. Click on the Checkout button to complete the checkout process.

From the checkout page, the users can choose the delivery method. So the Mondial relay is shown there. Choose it.

From the opened window, the customer can pick the location. After choosing the location, click on the button Send to this Parcel Point.

Then the new location will be updated as a new Delivery address. So the product will deliver to that locations.

Complete the order by paying the order. To complete the payment choose the payment method and click on the Pay now button.

* Pick up in-store

Users can also pick the orders from the store itself. The shipping method configured for that is given below. The provider chosen is Pickup in-store. There is an additional tab named Stores. There the users can add the company warehouses. From the given warehouse the product will be picked up.

Go to the website shop. Choose the product with the necessary quantities. The product page contains the pickup in-store option, and from there the users can easily check the availability of products in the pickup store.

Then the customers can choose the pickup store. The warehouses that were added inside the delivery method are listed in the map. Customers can choose the store from the map. Then click on Choose this location. Product availability can be also viewed from there.

The chosen store locations can be visible on the product page. Then directly go to the checkout page by clicking on the Buy Now button.

The delivery method chosen is shown as Pick up in store. The chosen store details are also visible in the checkout page. Complete the order by paying the amount.
