Multilingual support in those languages is becoming more and more necessary as more individuals from all over the world visit websites. This is especially true for eCommerce websites, which must be able to provide products in the language that their clients speak.
Odoo 18 provides complete website management, including support for many languages. Technology can be used to construct multilingual websites that contain content that is available in multiple languages.
As can be seen below, many languages can be configured in the website module's Settings.
By selecting the Install Languages option, which opens a window listing available languages and providing options to activate them as needed, the user can also install more languages
In addition to this, you can add a new language on the Odoo website's home page. To see it, go to the main page and search for the Language option near the bottom, as shown in the screenshot below.
To allow translation of your website, you must first install the required languages and add them to your website. To do so, go to Website ‣ Configuration ‣ Settings and click Install languages in the Website Info section. In the dialog box that opens, select the Languages you want from the dropdown menu, tick the required Websites to translate, and click Add.
Now to translate your website or any other text on the page, select the Edit icon, and under the Customize option, you have the translate icon, as in the screenshot below.
There, you can select the language to which it has to be translated, and go for the insert icon, which will translate the content, as in the image below.
