Campaigns
The Marketing Card module in Odoo 18 is designed to enhance marketing efforts by allowing users to create and manage personalized card-based campaigns. This feature enables businesses to promote events, offers, and services efficiently, while also tracking audience engagement.
Campaigns in this module function as structured marketing initiatives where businesses can create and distribute digital cards to promote specific events, products, or services. These marketing cards can include promotional messages, discount codes, event details, and other engaging content to attract customers.
The Card Campaign page shows the list of cards created in this module with the details of the Created On, Name, Responsible, and Tags. This page can also be viewed in Kanban view. Clicking on the New button will open a new window where you can create new card for your campaigns.
In the Card Creation window of Odoo 18's Marketing Card module, the fields help define and customize your campaign. The Recipients field allows you to specify the target audience based on customer segments or specific criteria. Mention the Post Link that directs recipients to a specific webpage and Post Suggestion that allows you to add a message that encourages recipients to take action, like joining an event or making a purchase. The Responsible field assigns a team member to oversee the campaign’s execution and management. Lastly, the Tags field helps categorize and organize campaigns by applying relevant keywords or labels, making it easier to track and analyze campaigns in the system.
In the Card Layout tab, you can set the layout of the card by selecting suitable options in the Background, Header, Sub-header, Section, Sub-Section 1, Sub-Section 2, Dynamic Image 1, Dynamic Image 2, and Button fields.
In the Recipients Message tab, several fields are designed to encourage recipients to share the campaign and help expand its reach. The Request field includes a message urging recipients to share the campaign. The Request Description provides more context on why sharing is important. The Reward Link field allows you to include a URL leading to a rewards page, offering incentives like discounts or points for sharing the card. Lastly, the Thanks to You Message field expresses gratitude for the recipient’s efforts, with a message.
Once you complete the creation, you can send the card to the particular recipients using the Send button.
In the mail body, you will get options to customize the card with drag and drop options.
The window will show smart buttons to get detailed information of the Mailings, number of Clicks, Cards, Opened, and Shared. Using the Preview button will provide a preview of the card as shown in the image below.
