Maintenance Calendar
The Maintenance Calendar window provides a comprehensive calendar view of all the maintenance requests of the particular user or the maintenance team at a glance.
For planning and monitoring maintenance work, Odoo 18's Maintenance Calendar is a helpful tool. Users may browse tasks by Day, Week, Month, or Year, which makes resource allocation more effective. as shown in the screenshot provided below.
It is evident from the Maintenance Calendar page that the jobs are organized in a calendar style for convenience. In the screenshot above, the jobs are shown as of the date.
To obtain a summary of the maintenance, we may click on the specific date on a task card. This will open the task details in a small pop-up window with the names of the Maintenance Request, Date, Technician, Priority, and Maintenance Type details, as shown below.
Selecting "Edit" in the job details card allows easy change of maintenance requests by taking the user to the Maintenance Request configuration form. Users can make new requests or events by choosing a date or changing tasks straight from the calendar.
Then, click on the "Create" button to proceed. The users can see the new request or task that has been created using the selected data, as shown below.
Click on the recently created activity to edit further details. So, this action will lead us to the maintenance request configuration form.
As was covered in the maintenance request setup section, you can enter information here to start a new request. These fields include "Request" name, "Created By," "Maintenance Type," "Equipment," "Request Date," "Team," "Responsible" person, "Priority," and other pertinent pieces of information.
By tracking maintenance progress, the calendar tool and thorough reports increase operating efficiency even further.
