Reporting

With Odoo 18 ERP, you may effectively generate comprehensive reports of various records specified in its modules, both analytical and quantitative. They foster an atmosphere that motivates employees to give their best work and generate innovative ideas for the company's growth. When creating these, you can choose to use predefined or customizable reports. The Filters and Group By options ensure that your reports are clear and accurate.

Stock

The Stock pane displays all of the system-configured stocks along with details such as the product name, unit cost, and total value. Incoming (the quantity of scheduled incoming goods), outgoing (the quantity of scheduled outgoing goods), free to use (the quantity of available products less the quantity reserved), and unit (of measurement) are the following product quantities. To open this window, select the Stock option from the Reporting tab selection list.

The left side of this window will display the classification criteria for the system's product listings. Two instances of these divisions in this section are Warehouses and Category. To filter the stock according to a specific category, check the box next to it. The resulting window will only show the products that fit that description. Likewise, you can select a warehouse to have things associated with it shown in the window.

Use the Filters, Group By, and Favorites options to filter and arrange the products based on different criteria. As shown below, you can click on the button in the window's top right corner to access additional places.

You can check the needed fields if you want any field's details to appear in the window.

Users can check the stock data for a particular date by selecting the "Inventory at Date" option in Odoo's Inventory, as in the image given above.

Location

A list view of the Location report can be found below. The Lot/Serial Number, Product, Package, Location, On Hand Quantity, and Reserved Quantity are displayed in this section.

As stated earlier, you may utilize the History button to view the history of the moves and the Replenishment button to replenish the products from the Location reporting box.

The Locations are displayed in a pivot table view in this example. Reports can be customized to meet your unique needs by using the Measures, Filters, and Group By options. As an alternative, you can change the graph's type to a bar, pie, or line chart, depending on your preferences, and transform this window to a graphical view.

Moves History

All of the actions related to product movements are meticulously documented in the Moves History window. The Reports menu's "Moves History" option. The pane shows information such as the product name, lot/serial number, movement date, and reference. Unit, Status, Quantity, From (the product's original location) and To (the product's new location).

By using "Filters," "Group By," and "Favorites," you can apply various criteria and find the information you need. You can see this window in the List, Kanban, or Pivot modes by selecting the appropriate icon from the top right corner of the window.

Moves Analysis

Moves analysis and Moves history are also comparable. Here, the movement of the products is displayed according to stock levels. In this instance, the Pivot View will be used to view the movement.

Additionally, a number of perspectives are accessible, including the List View, Kanban View, and Graph View.

Valuation

You can carry out various stock values under the Valuation option. From the list of options on the Reporting tab, pick Valuation and the page will be as in the image below.

The Stock Valuation window displays information like Date, Reference, product, Company, Quantity, Total Value, Remaining Value, Unit Value, and Unit of Measure. Every change in valuation will update here, it can be through a receipt, delivery or through inventory adjustment. The value here is the calculated as (quantity * cost).

You can classify and arrange these records using filters, group by, and favorites. Additionally, the widow's two view modes are List and Pivot. Click on the respective icons to select the required mode.

As in the above image, The Valuation At Date button, located in the top-left corner of the Stock Valuation page, reveals a pop-up window. In this pop-up, the inventory valuation of products available during a prior specified date can be seen and selected.
