In Odoo 18’s Employee module, the work locations feature enables organizations to manage and assign distinct work locations for various business processes, streamlining operations and resource allocation. Accessible from the Configuration menu, the Work Locations option displays all predefined locations, allowing users to review details like the Work Location, Cover Image, and Company.
Each previously created work location can be viewed on this page, making it easy to oversee multiple locations at once. To add a new location, users simply click the New button, opening the Work Location form.
Here, essential fields like Work Location name, Work Address, Cover Image, and Company are provided, allowing for a comprehensive and visual setup. Once filled out and saved, the new work location's information is securely stored in the Odoo database, making it accessible for future management and integration within other HR processes, such as attendance tracking, departmental assignments, and resource management across the organization.
