Job Positions
While creating an employee profile, it is necessary to mention the job position. Let’s look at the configuration of various job positions available in a company. For this, you can go to the Configuration menu and select the Job Positions option.
Here, you can see the list of pre-configured job positions. Use the Create button to configure new job positions.
Odoo will open a new form view as shown above where you can configure the details of the new Job Position. After mentioning the Job Positions, you can add information in the Recruitment tab.
These details will be used for the operations of recruitment for this job position. Specify the Company, Department, Job Location, and Employment Type details in the respective fields. The complementary information that will appear on the job submission page can be specified in the Process Details section. It includes the Time to Answer, Process, and Days to Get and Offer details. The number of employees you expect to recruit for this particular job position can be mentioned in the Target field. Set the Is Published field, if the application is already published on the website of the company. Additionally, you can add Recruiter, Interviewer, Interview Form, Contract Template, and Website in the respective fields.
You can use the Job Summary field to add a description related to the job, which will be displayed on the job application.
All applications for this particular job position from various sources can be managed using the Job Applications smart button. The Documents button will display the documents related to this job position. The Trackers will show various job sources.
In a company, you will have various types of employees. Some may be permanent staff and some may be interns. You can use the Employment Types option available in the Configuration menu to configure the types of employees in your organization.
You can easily create Employment Types using the Create button. You need to mention the Employment Type in the given line and click on the Save button.
