Sessions
It is important to track the activities of all the sessions. In Odoo you can view the details that happened in each session by selecting the Sessions option from the Orders tab. The list of sessions along with their details is displayed. With the filtering feature you can select the My Sessions, sessions in Progress and sessions based on the Opening Date. Also the sessions can be grouped and displayed based on the employee who has Opened the session, Point of Sale, Status of the session, Opening and Closing Date.
To view more details of the session, select them from the list. There you will be able to see the details such as
Opened By: The employee who has opened the session is mentioned here.
Point of Sale: The name of the physical point of sale used.
Journal Entry: Journal entry corresponding to the point of sale activities is displayed here.
Opening Date: The opening date of the session along with the time of opening is mentioned.
Orders: By selecting the Orders tab, you can view the orders taken during this session.
Picking: The route of the order from the warehouse to the customer can be seen in the Picking tab.
Payments: The amount received as payments from the session along with the payment method is visible by selecting the Payment tab.
Journal Items: The journal entries corresponding to the financial activities from the session are recorded here. The journal entry, account, credit and debit amount can be viewed by selecting the Journal Items tab.
Cash register: The transaction details, starting and ending balance of the session can be viewed by selecting the Cash Register tab.
The status of the session is highlighted at the top. It can be either IN PROGRESS, CLOSING CONTROL or CLOSED & POSTED. The session can be continued by selecting the CONTINUE SELLING button.
