Planning Work Orders by Production
The work orders of the manufacturing company should be planned in order to run the work smoothly. Wastage of time and clashes of work can be avoided by planning the work order in advance. The Odoo 15 Manufacturing modules help you to make the schedules of the work order in a systematic manner.
The planning can be done on the basis of the production and work center. To view the schedule of the planning done on the basis of production, select the Planning by Production option from the Planning tab. The calendar view of the scheduled operation can be viewed. The schedule of the Day, Week, Month and Year can be displayed. Using the Filter feature you can view the schedule of the orders In Progress, Ready, Waiting, Pending, Finished and Late. The result can be grouped and displayed on the basis of the Work Center, Manufacturing Order, Status and Scheduled Date. The schedule can be viewed in Gantt, List, Calendar, Pivot and in Graph view.
You can view the details of the work order by clicking on it. The status of the work order is marked along with other details such as Planned Date duration to complete the order, Expected Duration to finish the order and the Manufacturing Order.
Under the Components tab, the details of the Products used to manufacture, quantity of the products to be Consumed, Reserved quantity, Consumed quantity, quantity of product On Hand and Forecasted quantity are mentioned.
The Starting Date of the work order, its End Date, Duration taken on the order, the name of the User who worked on the order and the Productivity of time in executing the work order are defined at the Time Tracking tab. This will provide you great insight upon the time being used and details of the employee who worked.
At the Finished Steps, you can view the details of the completed procedures indicating the completed Date, name of the Operator in charge while executing the operation, the Finished Lot/ Serial Number of the operation, Title provided for the finished step and the Result after completion. By evaluating the tab you can have a picture of the operations that have been completed and the result of completing the operation.
