Schedulers
The Schedulers in Odoo are considered as the calculating procedures that will be very helpful for automating the manufacturing and purchase functions of the company. This will allow you to configure the operations based upon the rules, removal methods, reordering rules and many other operations being defined in the Odoo system. Moreover, the option allows you to send out automated purchase quotations to the vendors based upon the operational rules applied. You are also able to customize the schedulers option in the Odoo system to run and function based on the regular time intervals set by the users. The scheduling option can also be operated manually. In this Inventory module you can view the Run schedulers menu under the Operations tab as depicted in the below image.
Upon selecting the Run Scheduler menu you will depict a pop up window as shown in the below image.
To run the scheduler, you should click on the RUN SCHEDULER button available in the pop up window. You are also able to cancel the operation by selecting the CANCEL button available.
If you want to create the Schedulers to run automatically you should enable the developer mode. This can be done by selecting the General Settings menu nd you can scroll the window down to view the Developer option and you can select the icon “Activate the developer mode”
Now you will be able to go back to the homepage of the Odoo platform and you can select the Settings menu to create schedulers.
