How Odoo CRM manages lost opportunities
There will be so many situations where we lose opportunities. Whatever may be the reason, Odoo platform assists you to perfectly manage these situations and deeply analyze the lost reasons. Every leads or opportunities window in the Odoo CRM platform includes the Won and Lost buttons as shown in the below image.
When the Opportunity is lost, you can press on the Lost button. Then you will be followed by a popup window where you can mention the reason for losing this opportunity. You can either allocate a new reason or provide an already created reason using the dropdown menu.
Then you can click on the SUBMIT button to submit the lost reason. Now the lead or opportunity is marked as lost. A red ribbon showing LOST will appear on the window.
The Odoo platform also oversees the possibility of regaining the lost opportunities. So you can regain the lost opportunities if there is a chance. This can be done by selecting the RESTORE button available. Moreover, the platform allows you to view all the lost opportunities together by filtering the lost opportunities in the dashboard. This will be very helpful for getting ideas on lost opportunities and analyzing the reasons. Furthermore, the platform allows you to create and configure lost reasons. For managing this, you can access the Lost Reasons menu from the Configuration tab of the Odoo CRM module.
Here in the Lost Reasons window, you can view all the default Lost Reasons and you can create new one by clicking on the Create icon available.
