Product management plays a significant role in the business operations of a firm focused on products. With the characteristics of a specialised management tool, you will have complete control over the items being described. Using Odoo product management, you can specify every product and service your company provides. The Accounting module's items menu, which can be accessed through the Customer menu, displays all of the items defined in your business's operations.

Under the Products menu, you'll discover filtering and grouping options to assist you find the product from the list of ones described there. The Products menu may be seen in List, Kanban, and Activity views, with the last one being very helpful due to the image and a list of activities.

Products that can be stored have a longer expiration date and are less likely to be damaged. All non-consumable products are also included in this category. Service-based items are those that may be provided to the client as a service based on their requirements but are not physically present. If the product is only consumable, it will be possible to specify inventory. The product category can also be specified and selected from a drop-down menu. After we've established the sales price for the goods, you may specify the extra prices. Additionally, you may specify the Customer Taxes and the TaxCloud Category by selecting them from the dropdown menu. You can also provide any Internal Notes that must be specified for the particular product.

The Accounting tab of the product description window allows you to define the product's Accounting details. The income account keeps the earned revenue while selling an item to the customer and the expense account keeps the expense generated during the purchase of that item from any vendor.

The Email Template may be specified under the section automatic email upon invoicing, which will send the customer a product-specific email after the invoice has been confirmed. After selecting one of the Variants choices in the Product creation description box, you will be directed to the Product Variants menu, as seen in the picture below.
