In defining the product of operation in business operations, vendors' operations should be taken into consideration. For the business to run smoothly, the product descriptions should also match how the vendors define it. In the Odoo Accounting module's Vendor tab, there is a special Products menu where you may define the Products based on the Vendors. This menu will support the product management component in the same way that it is done for the customer operation
On the Accounting module dashboard, the Vendor tab provides access to the Products menu based on the vendor description. Every operation's product will be defined here in the menu based on the vendor and may be seen in List, Kaban, as well as Activity view. You can also sort the needed item out of the lengthy list in addition to using the existing Filter and Group by choices. The Products menu, which has been set up in the Kanban view, is seen in the screenshot that follows.
By selecting the Create Available option, you can add new products to the menu, which will take you to the Creation window seen in the following screenshot.
Here, the Product Name and its properties—Can be Sold or Can be Purchased—can be defined. Additionally, the Product Type, Product Category, Internal Reference, Barcode description, Sales Price, Customer Taxes, TaxCloud Category data, and Cost information can be defined under the General Information tab. The Internal Notes may also be defined in accordance with the requirements. The Product creation window's other tabs are all comparable to the one that was discussed in this chapter's Customer management section's Product management section. You can refer to the 4.2.8 Product management section to have a further understanding of the aspect of the Product configuration and description.
