Online Synchronization
Online Synchronization is the feature of Odoo helping you to directly connect the
Bank Account of your company operation which will be helpful in the aspects of Financial
Management. When you select the Online Synchronization menu of the Odoo platform
if you have not described a bank account you will be depicted with the following
menu where you have to add a Bank Account which can be done in the Configuration
tab of the Accounting module.
Upon selecting the Add a Bank Account option in the Configuration window you will
be depicted with the following window where all the banks of operations will be
depicted here. Once you have described the bank account for your company operations
you can select the respective bank from the list in the below menu and select the
Connect to connect with the respective bank account.
If your Bank is not described over here, you can select the Create It option available
in the Add a Bank Account menu and you will be depicted with the following Create
a Bank Account menu as depicted in the following screenshot. Here you need to specify
the Account Number, define the Bank and provide the Bank Identifier Code for the
respective bank account to be added.
Almost all the prominent banks operating worldwide will be described in the list
of bank accounts being described for you to select or else you can make use of the
custom bank account creation option which is available. These are all the aspects
regarding the configuration of a bank account for the operations of your business
under the Online Synchronization.
Up until now, we were discussing the aspects of the Accounting configurations menus
and tools available under the Configuration tab of the Accounting module in Odoo
as we are clear on all the aspects let now move on to the next section. In the next
section, we will be discussing the Payment configuration options available.
