Budgetary Positions
The Budgetary positions configuration in Odoo will help you to define and allocate
the various aspects of the Budget management which is done with the Odoo Accounting
module. To view the Budgetary positions menu in the Configuration tab, you need
to initially enable the Budget management options that are available in the Settings
menu of the Odoo Accounting module. In the Budgetary positions management menu,
all the defined Budgetary positions of the Odoo platform will be described and you
can view all of them Filter out or Group by the required ones that have been defined.
o create a new Budgetary position, you can select the Create option that is available
and you will be depicted with the following creations window where you can initially
provide a Name. Further, then you can provide the Accounts of the Budgetary positions
which acts upon this by selecting the Add a line option.
Upon selecting the Add a line option you will be depicted with the pop-up window
as depicted in the following screenshot where all the Accounts that have been described
in the Odoo platform of the companies will be depicted to choose from. You can choose
multiple accounts to be added to the Budgetary positions. Additionally, if a respective
account has not been enabled to reconcile the same can be done by selecting the
Allow Reconciliation option which can be slid to enable the stage.
As of now, we were discussing the aspects of the Budgetary positions management
menu available in the Odoo platform which can be helpful in the aspects of budget
management for the companies. Let's now move on to the next section where we will
be discussing the aspect of Disallowed Expenses Categories available in the configuration
menu.
