New Feature

Odoo 16 community edition adds certain new features which are listed below,

• The Website and eCommerce module in the Odoo 16 edition is more flexible, and it is efficient to instantly redirect to the website home page with a single click.
• Backend View Update: In the Odoo 16 Website module, you may manage the backend from the front end. Odoo creates a new 'Site' menu for this purpose, through which you can rapidly reach the backend view. There is no longer any need to access the module's back end.
• Customize from the front end: With the new Odoo 16 Website module, you can use the editor to create your own website. All of the snippets in the module can be customized and modified from the front end. You can also use the editor option to change the default page style.
• Consent to cookies bar: The Odoo website has an opt-in cookie bar. They help to save information about your visit to that website. It's also a good idea to ask visitors for permission before collecting undesirable cookies on their devices
• Plausible Analytics: The new Plausible Analytics feature is available in the Odoo 16 Website module.
• Bulk uploads are supported by the Odoo 16 Website module, making it easier to insert photos quickly.
• Product image layout: In Odoo 16, the editor now allows you to add one or more photos to the product page at once. For the image, you may optionally select between a carousel and a grid arrangement.
• Front-end customization: The Odoo16 Website and eCommerce module makes it easier to create your own website with the editor option. All snippets can also be modified from the front end. You can also change the default page style using the editor option.
• Support most payment methods; Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc. as well as recurring charges.
• Customers can be notified when a product is restocked. Even if they are not logged in, they can sign up immediately on the product page.
• Enhancing the checkout procedure when customer sign-in is required.
• Make buttons that allow customers to add items to their shopping carts.
• Permit consumers to select a Mondial Relay pickup location at the time of purchase.
• Customers are allowed to make payment through online and pick items from the nearest store
• Provide address autocomplete and validation during the eCommerce checkout if using the Google Places API.
• The Re-order From Portal option to let your customers add items from an earlier order to their cart.
• Extra Step During Checkout while shopping.
• Reference price per UoM on products in addition to the sale price using the product Reference Price option.
• The 'Prevent Sale of Zero Priced Product' option in the section allows the user to set up their shop to prevent the sale of any product with a price set to zero.
