eCommerce Categories
In the Odoo 16 Website module, the 'eCommerce Categories' menu is a sub-menu of
the 'eCommerce' tab.
It gives users the ability to manage their eCommerce categories and goods. It allows
users to create, update, and delete categories, as well as attach products to them.
Users may also customize their category page layouts, set up product filters, and
customize the presentation of products on the category page using the 'eCommerce
Categories' menu. Users can also add category images and customize SEO parameters
for each category.
The eCommerce window is capable of listing all eCommerce Categories, as well as
the Display Name and the associated Website. To add a new category, click the NEW
button in the upper left corner of the window. The eCommerce Category creation form
will appear like the image below.
E-Commerce categories enable you to organize your website by categorizing your products.
And these categories are assigned within the product under the Sales page as shown
below.
In the website we can also see the categories created as shown below, using which
the product can be easily identified.
