Abandoned Carts

The orders menu includes an aspirate tab that displays the Abandoned cart orders.

This menu displays a list of all abandoned carts from consumers, such as those that did not complete the checkout process. You may quickly view your website's Abandoned Carts by viewing this window which includes information such as the respective Number, Creation Date, Customer, Salesperson, Activities, Company Total, and Status as shown below.

The user may see all of the order carts that have been placed as well as the products that the customer has included but has not processed to confirm. The user can also send an email to the consumers as an inquiry from the respective orders of the abandon cart on the decision.The user may customize the abandoned carts recovery option in the settings menu of the orders follow up as shown below.

Here, we may additionally specify how long should pass before a cart is considered abandoned can change the abandoned cart email template in Odoo Ecommerce. Also the user can set the cart recovery email and other options are editable from this page and the cart recovery email has an editing option and one can also reset the template and preview the same.

Suppose if we add a product to the cart from the website and forgets to make the payment and purchase of the product as shown below,

then after a certain time, that we have assigned automatically an email will be sent to the customer requesting to complete the checkout process as shown below.

Once we click on the Send a Recovery Email button a pop up window will appear which shows a message to send the mail to the receipt with the concerned product.

The responsibility for order follow-up can be delegated to a sales team and a specific salesperson. Under the description of abandoned carts, the user can configure the email template that will be sent to the customer for recovery. The period of the auto-sending email following cart abandonment can be specified.
