Survey

Survey is a major part to be conducted under a business team. The responses and suggestions for the employees should be collected for the betterment of the company. The reviews on the products and the services provided along with them should be analyzed and regulated accordingly. Such responses and reviews will definitely help the company to grow up to a great extent by making the necessary changes in the business strategy. The customer's intentions and needs can be easily calculated, and make the necessary requirements very easily. Using the module of a survey, the customers can very easily reach the expectation and needs of the customers and make the necessary corrections if required as well. When you are done with the survey testing, it will be published on the website as well. Odoo helps here to collect all the surveys conducted using the survey module. The surveys will be collected on their own and can be used for further analysis. Now, let's look at the detailed view of the survey module.

On selecting the module of the survey, the main page will be, as shown in the screenshot below.

On the page of the survey module, you will get various surveys that are created earlier for many purposes. You are provided with filters, group by, and favorites options, which can be used for sorting and categorizing as well. The filters option includes sub-options, such as is a certification, is not a certification, archived, and add custom filters. Group by option includes responsible and add custom group options. And if required, you can keep the survey under the favorites option as well. Under the favorites, you will get to save the current search and add it to my dashboard as well. The page view is in Kanban, which can be seen in the list and activity view also. Every survey [provides the details, such as the name of the survey, the total number of answers, recorded, certified, and the success rate. every survey is provided with three dots in the right-most corner, which provides options such as edit survey, share, delete, and color, which can be added accordingly. Along with it, you will get a clock-like icon in every survey, which helps you to schedule a new activity also.

The creation of a similar kind f survey is very easy under the survey module. Slate the new icon for the process of creation of a new survey.

On the creation page of the survey, you can provide some necessary details, as shown in the screenshot above. You have to provide a name or title for the survey. The responsible use will be filled on its own. Below that, you have got some tabs, such as questions, options, descriptions, and end messages, respectively.

The questions tab helps you to add questions that are to be asked for the survey. When you select the add a question option, you will be directed to a page, as shown in the screenshot below.

On the question creation page, you will get a space to add the question. Below that, you can select the question type from the sub-options provided, which is comprised of options, such as multiple choice only one answer, multiple choice multiple answers allowed, multiple lines text box, single line texts box, date, DateTime, and matrix, respectively. When you're done with adding the question, just go to the SAVE AND CLOSE option. If the new question is to be added again, then move to the SAVE AND NEW option as well.

The next tab under the survey creation page is options. On the options tab, you will get the sub-options, such as the title of the survey to be added, the responsible user, and an image as well. The options tab with its sub-options is provided in the screenshot below.

Here, under the questions option, you have to add the pagination as one page per question, one page per section, or one page with all the questions. Then, the display progress on the option is to be set as a percentage left or number. Below that, you can assign the question selection as all questions or be randomized per section accordingly. The back button can be activated if they have to move to the previous page. Now, under the participant's option, you can provide the access mode, which can be anyone with a link. The required login option can be triggered if you have to make the login necessary for attending the question. Now, under the time and scoring option, you can set the survey time limit. Then, the scoring option can be selected as no scoring, scoring with answers at the end or scoring without at the end. Now, if any certificate is going to provide for the winners, then you can set a certification option to be active. Under the live session option, you can mention the session code, session link, and reward quick answers option to be acting accordingly.

Now, the next tab under the survey creation tab is a description, as shown in the screenshot below.

Here, you can very easily add a short description of the survey that you are going to conduct. Here, you can add the basic instructions to be followed during the survey.

The last tab is the end message, as shown in the image below.

Here, you have the space to add the message, which will be shown at the end of the survey. When you are done with all the details, then, go to the SAVE icon in order to save the newly created survey to the existing list of surveys. You are then provided with some options, such as sharing, creating live sessions, testing, printing, and closing, as in the image below.

The test icon can be made used in order to test the survey before it is actually started. The corrections can be done if there are any. You can make use of the share icon in order to share the survey with Other users. On selecting the option of share, you will get an app, shown in the screenshot below.

Here, you can see the page for sharing a survey. The name of the survey can be added to the allotted space. Below that, the URL for the created survey can be mentioned. Then the recipients of the survey can be added to the allotted space. Along with eaten t, the subject can also be mentioned. You will also get a certificate for using the start certification option. You are provided with the date on which the survey will end. You can see an end message there as well. Finally, go to the send icon in order to get this survey to be sent to the required person.

On selecting the send icon, you will get the smart button on the recordings of the responses from the available participants. It is shown in the image below.

On the participant's page, you will be provided with the details, such as created on date, name of the survey, contact details, email of the respective person, attempt n deadline, quiz passed, percentage of the score attained, and the status of the quiz, respectively. The filters, group by, and favorites opinions can be made use of. The page can be viewed in Kanban view as well, other than the list view provided. In order to know the responses provided by the users, you can go to a particular one among the provided lost. Finally, you can make use of the part option to get the print of the survey, which is newly created. Then, you can close or end the survey using the icon provided. The start a live secession option is used to begin a live session based on the survey. When the attendees attend the survey, you can see the answers using the see result option, as shown in the screenshot below.

The see result option provided on the page can be sued to see the result of the attendees who attend the survey. The results will be as shown in the screenshot below.

The result will be in the form of a pie chart, which shows the percentage of success too.

The module of survey helps you to make online surveys in very easy methods. On getting the responses from the customers, you can make enhancements to the business operations.
