Invoicing a project

Under the project management module, you can easily include the project that you want. If you need to get the option of invoicing, firstly, the option of billable should be triggered from the settings menu for the module of project management. On triggering the opinion of billable in the settings, you will be provided with the option of invoicing, which helps you to invoice a project.

Here, you can see the options of billable in the settings tab of the project that you have selected. On triggering the option of billable, you will get the tab for invoicing on the page. The option can be seen in the screenshot below.

On the page, you can see the tab of invoicing, which has got available to trigger the billable option. Below, under the invoicing option, you can provide the sales order item to which the project or task is linked under the provided field. Link the timesheet entry for the purpose of sales order item, which is defined on the project. You can also add the unit price and hours spent on a project as well. In the beginning, the name of the employee can also be mentioned accordingly. The details can be added using the option of adding a line. When you are done providing all the details, you can go to the save icon. Under the project management module, the invoices can be made out for three various options, such as timesheet, fixed price, and milestone, respectively. The time sheet will be beneficial in getting the invoice for the accurate working hours of every employee in the company who worked on the specific project.

To do that, you can go through the creation of sales order. In order to invoice the timesheet of a particular project or task, firstly, create a service type of project and then activate the invoicing policy according to the timesheet in the general information tab. To say, if the invoice timesheet of a junior architect can be created as a service product and then create a sales order with the help of the product. That is, on selecting the sales module under the products option, you will get the junior architect, under which, in the general information tab, you will get the opinions, such as product type, invoicing policy, and create on-order options, respectively. Now, you can easily create a sales order. The page of the sales module will be as shown in the screenshot below.

The above-mentioned options can be seen in the above image. Now, you can select the create invoice option on completing the confirmation of the sales order. Otherwise, the sale order can be added as the default sales order item in the invoicing tab under the respective project.

On the smart panel, you are provided with the sales order option. There, on selecting the option, you will get a new window, which can be seen on the leftmost side of the page, as shown in the screenshot below.

Now, on selecting the CREATE INVOICING option, you will get a new page, as shown in the image.

On the pop-up window, you will get the details to be added, such as creating an invoice as a regular invoice, a down payment as a percentage, or a down payment as a fixed amount. Now, select the CREATE DRAFT IVOCE option, and the page will be displayed as shown in the image below.

Here, you can go to the CONFIRM icon in order to confirm the invoice and then go to the payment. These are the processes to be followed for the creation of invoices for the timesheet of the particular project in the module of project management. If you have to invoice a project according to a prepaid or fixed price, then select the invoicing policy according to the prepaid or fixed prices. To say, if a customer orders 12 units of a service product and only 5 units are delivered.

And if it is set on prepaid or fixed prices, then the invoice will be created on every unit which is ordered by the customer. The quantity will not be considered in such cases, and then the service product will be available at a fixed price or prepaid service. The invoicing policy based on the milestone will be made sue for the invoicing of the delivered quantity or the completed stages of a particular project which has lots of stages. The project may include lots of stages, and then you can create invoices for the full stage of the project. Suppose we decide on planning, design, and testing stages for a particular project, and the stages are completed. On selecting the invoicing policy according to the milestone, invoice the completed stages of the project.
