Create Maintenance Teams

As we discussed in the previous section, Users can create new Maintenance teams as per their needs and requirements for their manufacturing unit or organization. This can be easily done in the odoo 16 maintenance module by using the “Configuration” menu. To create a new maintenance team, click on the “Maintenance Teams” from the Configuration menu dropdown, as depicted in the below screenshot.

You can see the existing Team names from the “Maintenance Team” home page. And also able to create new teams using the “New” button under the teams, as shown in the screenshot below.

Creating a new “Team” is quite an easy task. Clicking on the “NEW” button will open a new data field where we can add new “Team Names,” “Team Members,” and “Company Details,” as shown below.

Here, we are adding a new team named “Quality Maintenance” just for demonstration. Users can translate the team name into various other languages provided in the odoo platform by clicking on the translation icon. So you can select the translation language from the list as shown below.

Save the team after completing the process using the “Save’ button. You can add multiple teams using the above procedure according to your requirements. After creating the basic data requirements for the module, we can see the process of creating a “Maintenance Request” using the created equipment and teams.
