LUNCH MODULE

It is for sure that the employees play a significant role in the success of a company. Their contributions have to do a lot for the company to reach at its height. So a healthy atmosphere is mandatory for them. In order to keep their mind relaxed, they should get healthy and interesting leisure time. Odoo Lunch Module is here to have such fun during leisure time. The company provides a healthy lunch for those employees in the organization. One of the attractive features of the module is that you can order your favorites from here.

You can create your own vendors and the food items that they supply. It is very easy to order the food that you wish from the given list. With the help of the account balance, they can pay the amount for the food item. On selecting the module, you will get the list of already created lists of food.

On this page, as you can see, the list of food items with the name of the employee and their address can be viewed. You are able to see the account balance on the right side as well. The page can be viewed in the Kanban and List view too. In each product, you will get the name of the food item and its cost. You can also see the number of the vendor for the purpose of contacting them. With the help of the star icon on the left side, you can add food to your favorite list.

Using the Filters, food available each and every day will be provided. On the left side, you can see a panel which provides the various kinds of food items and the vendors. You can go for any of the food among them to get further details related to it. On selecting a particular vendor, you will get the food items that the vendor provides. Let us understand how to manage products in the lunch module.

Products and Product Categories

You can easily configure new food items in Odoo Lunch Module. For that, go for the Configuration Menu, below which you will get the Products option.

Here, you have the list of all the created products. Categories are available on the left side of the page. The view can also be in Kanban view. In the given list, you have the name of the product, product category, vendor, company, description of the product, and the price. You can go for any of the products on the list to make further changes in it using the Edit icon. To make a new product, go to the Create button.

In this page, you can provide the name of the product. Select the category of the product and the vendor from the provided list. In the allotted space, you can add the price of the type of product. In the New Until space, you can give the expiry date of the product. Then give the name of the company as well. Below the description, you can give extra information about the product. Product images can also be added in the allotted space. Finally, go for the Save button.

Now, let’s look at how to create a new product category in Odoo Lunch Module. In the Configuration menu, you will get the option for the product category.

On the page, you will get the already created products category list. Now, in order to create a similar type, go to the Save button, as shown in the above image. In the creation window, you have to provide some necessary information.

Here, you have to give a name for the product category and provide the name of the company as well. You are also given space to include an image for the same. Finally, go to the Save button to add it to the existing list of product categories.
