Badges

To keep the employees in the office more energetic, the workplaces usually conduct various appreciating programs. Such programs motivate and empower them in their workings. Such appreciation from the company will make them feel more confident and get ready to face any tasks in their duties. They will be enthusiastically completing their work, as they always have a background support from the team. For activating such programs, you can see badges and challenges options in Odoo Employee Module.

According to the levels of work completed by the employees, they will be awarded with certain badges and gifts. The option can be seen in the configuration menu.

As in the image, there is a list of all the badges attained by the employees for the best work that they have done. The page can also be seen in the list view. Each badge contains a short note on the badge and the number of workers who got it. Using the Grant option provided on each badge, you can provide the particular badge to the employee.

On selecting the Grant option, you will get a window, as shown below.

Here, you can explain the reason for them to achieve the particular badge. On completing, you can select the Grand Badge option. On the dashboard also, you will get the option to create a new badge.

On the page, you can easily give a name for the badge. Under the description option, you can provide a short note on the badge. An image of the badge can also be included in the allotted space. Under the Granting tab, you can provide allowance to grant the badge. It can be selected as everyone, a selected list of users, people having some badge, or no one, assigned through challenges.

On activating the Monthly Limited Sending option, you will be provided with an extra field of Limitation Number, which provides the total number of times that the badge can be granted per month. On the My Monthly Total option, the total number of times that the badge is sent on that particular month can be seen.

With the help of the Add button, you can easily include rewards for challenges in order to get these badges. On doing so, you will get a window, as shown below.

A particular challenge can be selected from this list and included in the badge. Under the Forum Badge option, you can mention the level of the new badge. The levels can be Gold, Silver, or Bronze. Based on the level of badge, you can determine the badge level.

Now, under the Statistics tab, you can see the option for total, monthly total, number of users, my total, and monthly total. On completing including of all required details, you can go to the Save icon.
