Email Marketing

Odoo 16 has provided an Email Marketing Module in order to send certain advertisements or any other marketing-related messages to a group of people or their customers for the purpose of communication. This module will assist the company in order to persuade the customers of their organization. The module helps to increase the marketing strategy at a wide rate. Such kind of good marketing schemes will lead the company to a great extent and attain success. The module is really a cost-effective strategy that can be carried out in order to have proper and regular communication among the team members as well as the customers. The module helps to have a good relationship between the groups as well as outside.

On opening the module, you will get the Mailings menu page, as shown below.

As you can see in the image, the mailings include the date, subject, and responsible person, sent, delivered, opened, clicked, and replied options. The page consists of already-created mailings. The page can be seen in Kanban, List, Calendar, and graphical view, respectively. In order to make a similar kind of mailing, go to the Create icon.

On the creation page, you have to provide the subject of the mailing. You can make the list of recipients using the drop-down menu. If the mail has to be sent to all the contacts, then go to the contacts option in the drop-down menu. As there are many options in the list, you can select any of them. Otherwise, you can create a mailing list on your own, which is provided in the main menu bar. Under the Mail Body tab, you can go for any mail body for the particular mail. On selecting any one model, the designing of mailing can be started based on our own wishes.

Using the A/B test, you can have the option to trigger the Allow A/B Test option. Now, under the Settings option, you have to provide some details, such as follow.

The details include the preview text, which can be provided as a catchy sentence on Which can be provided upon opening the mail. In many inboxes, you have this option in order to open this particular mail. If the first character of the mail becomes the first, then you can keep the space blank. The responsible officer can be added along with the send from and reply to options, respectively. The option helps the customer to make their reply based on the mail that they have got. Under the Attach a File option, you can include some attachments in order to support the mail. You have a tracking option as well in order to provide the responsible person.

Under the chat tab, you can start a chat very easily. After completing all the editing prices, then you can go to the Send, Schedule, and Test options. On selecting the Send icon, you will get a window opened, as shown below.

You can go to the OK, and thereby the mail will be sent to all the recipients automatically. On selecting the Schedule icon, the new page will appear as follow.

A date can be scheduled for the selected recipient using this Schedule icon. On confirming the sending date, a new window will appear.

You can see the date of the email scheduled. The status of the email will be shown as a draft from the queue option. On a particular date and day, the mail will be automatically sent. In order to test a particular email, you can go to the Test icon. On finishing the process of creation and sending of the mail, then, you can now see the status, such as Quotation Order, Invoiced, and the total Percentage of how many recipients received, opened, clicked, replied, bounced, sent, and ignored, respectively.

On taking the Kanban view of the particular mailing, the status of all the mail will be available, as shown in the screenshot below.

The mail can be altered according to the Filters and Group By options provided.
