Every business requires a successful platform for the proper conveyance of messages among the employees in the company. This module enhances the company’s growth by having internal communication among the employees. This module can be used for formal and informal talks with the employees in the company. You can even create group chat as well as private chat as per your need.

You make clear your doubts in your work by having discussions with your friends and others. For sending all those doubts, you don’t need any external sources. It can connect and work together with other modules very easily. If any help is required during your difficult tasks to complete, then go for this Discuss module so that you can connect with other workers in your field. Instead of sending emails for your clarifications, you can make groups for the discussions to get conducted with the help of this module. There are many new features in Discuss Module that improve the quality of the Module.

On opening the Discuss Module in Odoo 16, you will be directed to the page where you will be provided with the main inbox, as shown below.

In this window, as you can see, you have Inbox, Starred, and History options on the left side of the window. Among these,starred message can be used to mark important messages, chat history will be visible in the History option, the new messages will appear in the mainInbox, and if required, you can mark it as read by selecting the option of Mark as Read provided in the rightmost corner. Readability is improved in the quality of the conversation inbox. Below that, you have a panel that includes Channels andDirect Messages. Using the Direct Messages, you can list the private communications within it, and all the group discussions will be coming under the Channels, respectively.
