Key performance indicators (KPIs) and other crucial business metrics that stakeholders must be able to see and comprehend quickly frequently fall under this category.
Dashboards are useful in a wide range of businesses because they can be customized to a great extent. To help you understand what happened, why it happened, what might happen, and what action you should take, they can contain data of all kinds with a range of dates. Additionally, because dashboards make use of visuals like tables, graphs, and charts, those who are not as familiar with the data can quickly and simply comprehend the narrative it presents or the insights it offers, such as,
Odoo Dashboard is an extensive platform for handling dashboards and performing analysis procedures. It is a responsive Bootstrap algorithm tool for creating custom dashboards. In this book, we are going to discuss the Community version of the Odoo 16 Dashboard Module. You can install the Module from the Odoo ERP Platform. You can see the dashboard Module Platform in the screenshot below.
As you can see from the screenshot, the module contains various types of dashboards, such as Sales, Finance, Logistics, Project, Marketing, and Website. It is also possible to sort and filter the dashboard data according to Period durations, Country, Product, Customer, Category, Salesteam, salespeople, Source, Medium, etc. You can select the desired sorting measure from the dropdown list provided in the respective field, as illustrated in the below screenshot.
Users can view the detailed Analytical Report by clicking on the respective dashboard information. Here we can click on the Sales dashboard data name “Top Quotations.” We will be directed to the quotations report homepage, as shown below.
In this Quotation dashboard view, the reports are arranged in a list view with the titles Quotation Number, Order date, Website, Customer, Salesperson, Activities, Company, Total, and Invoice Status.
Users can sort and filter the data according to their preferences, Change the dashboard view into other methods such as Gantt View, Kanban Cards, Pivot, Calendar View, Graphical View, etc.
We can Export the dashboard reports using the “Export All” icon provided next to the “NEW” button. Or create new dashboard data by clicking on the “NEW” button under the Quotation Dashboard title, as shown in the screenshot above.
After clicking the “NEW” button, we will be directed to a quotation configuration form view, as depicted in the screenshot below.
You can create a new Quotation Dashboard using this configuration form.
Odoo provides various default Dashboard Data and various Data Groups under each selected module placed in the left corner of the Dashboard homepage, illustrated in the screenshot below.
As seen in the above snapshot, Odoo Dashboard Data is accessible for the modules Sales, Finance, Logistics, Project, Marketing, and Website.
