Contact

Odoo ERP Software helps you to manage and keep records of all the contact data of all the employees working in the company. It is very easy to do the process using certain clicks. In this module, you can keep the data, such as employees, customers, suppliers, and partners as well. As it is an essential prowess to be done during a business, the module will be a great assistance.

On opening the module, you can see the dashboard where all the previously created contacts can be seen.

As in the image, you will get the Kanban view of the page, which includes details, such as contact information and photos accompanied with it. Using the Filter and Group By options, you can include the sorting options. With the Favorites option, you can add a particular contact to favorites. The page can be seen in the List view as well.

On the page, you will get information, such as Name, Activity, City, Country, and the Company of the particular contact. You can see three dots, which can be made used to get the extra options in the list view. Using the Create icon, as marked in the above image, can be used to create such a contact list.

On the contact creation page, you can provide the name of the contact or based on the company’s name as well. Then provide the address of the contact, phone, mobile, email, website, language, and tags of the contact. You can select a GST Treatment form from the drop-down menu. EIN or the tax identification number, can be provided in the allotted space. Below the Contact and Address tab, you can include additional details with the help of the Add icon. On doing so, you will get another window.

Here, you have the option to add additional contacts. Invoice and Delivery address are given for the purpose of sales orders. The contact name, address, email, phone, and mobile number can be provided in the provided spaces. In the internal notes space, you can mention the contact address as well. Finally, go to the Save and Close option. To add another address, the Save and New icon can also be selected.

Under the Sale and Purchase Tab, you can mention the information based on the sales and purchase.

Under this tab, you can give the Sales details, such as the name of the salesperson, terms for payment, price list, and method of delivery. Below the Point of Sale option, you can give the barcode to find the contact. In the purchase field, you can include the terms of the payment, and method of payment. Now, you have the option to activate the receipt reminder in order to get a confirmation email to the vendor for confirming the date on its own. Under the Fiscal information, you can add the position of the fiscal as well. Now, you have a miscellaneous option where you can give the reference, name of the company, website, tags for the website, and industry as well.

Now, the next tab is the Invoicing tab, which helps you to add bank account data.

On selecting the Add a note option, you can easily include the bank account information and the corresponding account number of the contact.

The next tab is the Internal notes tab, which can be used to add extra information on the particular contact.

Here, you can easily add new information regarding the contact that you are saving. Now, you have an additional option of Warning on the Picking option below, which you can set as No Message, Warning, or as Blocking Message.

The next tab is Partner Assignment, which can be used for adding the geolocation of a particular contact.

In the partner activation, you will get the space to add partner level, activation, and level weight accordingly. Under the partner review, you can add the latest partner review, next partner review, and date of the partnership, respectively.

Under the Membership tab, you can trigger the free member option if free membership is needed. In the associate member option, you can decide whom to get associated with. The current membership status can also be included in the provided space. Finally, go to the Save button.
