Kiosk Mode

The Kiosk menu is used for supporting the employees to add and label the attendance of the employees with the help of scanning badges or else recognizing manually.

On selecting the scan your badge option, the employee ID can be used here. The option of identifying Manually can also be used to mark attendance. Then, you will be directed to a page. The page will provide you an option to select the profile of the employee and then enter the PIN.

To do so, you have to enable the option of Employee PIN in the configuration menu.

On triggering this option, the PIN code check-in system can be used. Under the HR settings of the Employee form, you get the PIN code. In the settings, you have an extra hours option, where you can trigger the extra hours and compare it with the hours of work done.

Provide a date under the start from the field, and then the count of extra hours will be analyzed from this date. Under the Tolerance Time in Favour of Company and Tolerance Time in Favour of Employee spaces, you can enable a period of time, whether extra time will not be considered in the merit of the company and the employee.

The process of creating an employee ID and PIN code is an easy method. It is discussed in the employee module how to create the profile for an employee. The module can be referred to for further clarifications.

On adding a new employee to the employee module, there is an option to include a PIN code and create a badge ID as well below the HR settings. In the PIN code field, you can provide a code to check-in and check-out under the kiosk tab. On selecting the Generate icon, the badge ID will be available. You are also provided with the printing option by clicking the print badge button.

The badge can be used to identify the employee and then scan in the kiosk tab. The PIN can be used by selecting the Identify Manually option.

Here, identify manually option will lead you to the page with a list of all the employees.

The required profile can be picked out from the list. On doing so, a new page will be opened for entering the PIN.
