Configuration

On selecting the Configuration menu, you will get the Settings option of the Attendance Module, as shown below.

Here, you will get various options to trigger in order to get those options to get activated in the main page. The options include Check-In/Out in Kiosk Mode, which help to define how the user will be identified by the application. There, you can mention the barcode/ RFID and manual selection as well. Under the Display Time option, you can select how long the greeting message will be displayed. The time can be set in the allotted space in seconds. Under the Barcode Source option, you can mention the camera used for scanning the barcode. Now, you have an option of Employee PIN to activate in order to make use of the PIN code for the purpose of check-in.

Below the Extra hours tab, you have the Count Extra Hours option to activate, which helps to compare attendance with working hours which is set on employees. The starting date can be mentioned in the allotted space. You can now provide the Tolerance time in favor of the company, which allows a period of time, where extra time will not be included. The time period will be mentioned in minutes. The Tolerance time in favor of the Employee option permits the period of time, where extra time will not be included in favor of the employee. Altogether, we can say that the Attendance module helps to reduce the risks in Human Resource activities. It minimizes the number of errors and mistakes in the activities.
