Lost Reasons
Sometimes you may lose opportunities in business due to certain reasons. In such situations, it is very important to find the reason behind the loss and solve it immediately. Odoo has enabled a specialized field to manage the reasons for losing the opportunities in the CRM module. In the Odoo CRM, you will be able to find the ‘Lost Reasons’ field in the Configuration menu.
The field will include the list of reasons for losing opportunities. You can use the ‘Create’ button to add new lost reasons to the list. While clicking on the ‘Create’ button, you will get a new line as shown in the screenshot below to add new data.
While managing a lead or opportunity, you will get options to mark as Won or Lost according to the actions on the lead or opportunity.
If the opportunity or lead has failed for any reason, you can select the ‘Lost’ button to mark it as lost. A pop-up window will appear to mark the reason for the loss as shown below.
You can select the reason from the drop-down or else, you can add a new reason in the given field. After clicking the ‘Submit’ button, you can see the status of the opportunity as lost.
