Lead Management
Odoo allows you to gather leads from different platforms and set up the necessary procedures to qualify the leads to become an opportunity. You can also create new leads from this platform and those match with the company’s intrigue can easily convert into opportunities. In order to activate the lead management platform, select the Settings button from the Configuration menu of the CRM module.
Activate the ‘Leads’ option as shown above. After enabling this option, you will get the Leads menu on the main menu bar of the module.
Odoo allows you to directly create a new lead from this platform as well as generated through emails. The list of leads will give details about the Lead, Email, Phone, Company, City, Country, Assigned Partner, Salesperson, and Sales Team. To create a new lead, click on the ‘Create’ button, you will get a form to fill in details about the new lead.
Give a name to the particular lead in the given space. You can mention the probability of the lead to convert it into an opportunity. Additionally, add the Company Name, Address, Website, Language, Salesperson, Sales Team, Contact Name, Email, Job Position, Phone, and Mobile. This field also contains spaces to mention Priority and Tags depending upon the particular lead.
You can add an additional note under the Internal Notes section if necessary. Add the tracking details and partner details about the lead under the Extra info and Assigned Partner tabs respectively. Save the lead after completing the fields.
